Description
Gucci Eau de Parfum II arrived in 2004 as the younger, brighter sister to the original Eau de Parfum — a product of the late Tom Ford era at Gucci. The pink box and pink juice still carry their 2000s visual signature intact.
The opening is bright, not sharp: blackcurrant and red berries walk in alongside bitter orange and mandarin. In the heart, blackberry takes the leading role; around it peony, violet, freesia, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley weave a fine bouquet. The fruit side never waters the heart down — it polishes it. The base sets cedar and musk over a light heliotrope warmth.
On skin it runs five to seven hours depending on chemistry. The sillage stays close — office, daytime shopping, spring and early summer are its hours. Aimed at the 20s-30s bracket originally, but age brackets are guidelines, not rules.
For a wholesale perfume shelf, this is a way to add a discontinued Gucci classic and a layer of nostalgia at the same time.
