Description
Kenzo Homme Intense launched in 2021 as a concentrated amplification of the classic Kenzo Homme DNA. Perfumer Quentin Bisch expanded the aquatic-natural concept by introducing fig leaf and woodier base materials alongside the familiar oceanic opening.
The opening deploys calypsone — a synthetic molecule that mimics tropical, salty sea foam — alongside sea notes and Madagascar pink pepper. The result is saline, gently spiced, and fresh in a way that avoids the chlorine-like sterility of classic marine fragrances.
The heart brings fig tree and fig leaf, sourced from Turkish and Syrian coastal groves. Fig leaf reads green, resinous, slightly bitter and milky — it cuts through the maritime opening with crisp botanical sharpness. Indonesian vetiver deepens the heart with earthy, rooty complexity.
The base is built on akigalawood — an exotic woody molecule frequently used by Kenzo, oud-adjacent in depth — alongside sandalwood and patchouli. The result is a long-lasting, grounded, masculine finish. Available as wholesale perfume at Beyazıt Parfüm for both seasonal and year-round stocking.
